CUBE
Films exploring the design beliefs and processes of
regional architects
The Centre for Understanding the Built Environment (CUBE) – is Manchester’s Architecture Gallery on Portland Street.
Funded by the Northwest Development Agency, Spoken-Image shot a series of film installations that will form part of the CUBE tour as it heads to its new Liverpool gallery in the Tea Factory.
The specially shot films explore the design beliefs and processes of the architects in the region who, through high quality design, are promoting the Northwest as a benchmark for urban regeneration.
The programme of activity is linked to the development of Regeneration Excellence in England’s Northwest (RENEW).
